How are the student records populated in the database?

Schools.Tools professionals will work with your technology team to drop all relevant data into our tables on your servers each evening.

We are a very small school and don't have a dedicated technology team, can we still use Schools.Tools?

Yes, with access to your raw data we can configure the uploads or even accomplish the same manually, if required, on a regular repeating basis.

Is there an explanation of the abbreviations found at the top of each column of the student lists?

Yes, though most acronyms are self-explanatory there is a legend located at the top of each list page with their definitions.

Can parents and students access the Schools.Tools database?

No, Schools.Tools is designed specifically for school based personnel.

How can the individuals at the school share this information with parents during conferences, with emails, etc?

The easiest way to share specific student data with parents is by taking a screenshot of the student screen, contact notes or MTSS Threads to share with parents.

As student data is presented so logically, with all relevant information on one page why doesn't Schools.Tools make this available in the public domain for parents?

As we cannot control the parents' security protocols, connections, passwords, etc. we choose not to display student data publicly though individual districts are free to do so at their discretion and their responsibility.
