Is Schools.Tools a desktop or mobile application?

It is both and can be utilized on a conventional desktop computer, tablet, or cell phone dependent upon your schools needs and local technical support needs.

What type of training is required for Schools.Tools?

Although no training is required we are happy to meet with your administrative teams to determine how training might be structured to best suit your environment.

Does Schools.Tools provide support for middle schools?

Yes, we have pre-configured options/displays for middle schools, junior high and high schools. We are not supporting elementary schools at this time though we are happy to build custom applications at that level.

What are the ongoing fees associated with Schools.Tools software?

Though there are no ongoing fees required to use Schools.Tools, we do encourage districts and schools to purchase an annual support plan to be sure you get the latest updates and can request specific tweaks for your application.

As Schools.Tools is hosted on our servers, and we have purchased the application, are we free to modify the code?

Though we will take into consideration any likely changes in staff/structure and build in variables that may be managed from the administrative section the actual code is proprietary and should not be modified in any form.

Will Schools.Tools host our data on their web servers?

At this time we do not host your student/staff data. We will work with your technology specialists to access the appropriate data and to make it available through our software on your Windows server.

Are Schools.Tools professionals available on an annual basis to support our MTSS?

Yes, our professionals can be available for 3, 6 and 12 month contracts to assist in the evaluation, support and implementation of your MTSS system.
